Jiangnan University seeks more cooperation with enterprises

Jiangnan University has made great efforts to deepen the integration of enterprises with universities, said Chen Jian, president of Jiangnan University on Nov 15.
Chen was speaking at a forum celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of Jiangnan University.
As one of the celebration activities, the forum was held to promote cooperation between enterprises and the university.
Chen noted that it is important to promote cooperation among governments, enterprises, universities and research institutions.
He expressed his hopes that the forum would provide an opportunity for Jiangnan University to deepen exchanges and cooperation with people from all walks of life.
Huang Qin, acting mayor of Wuxi, fully affirmed the great contributions that Jiangnan University has made in promoting local economic development and regional economic transformation.
"Jiangnan University has provided strong support for Wuxi's economic development, even launching a series of development strategies," Huang said.
He also expressed his hopes that the Wuxi municipal government and Jiangnan University will actively explore an efficient cooperation model so as to enhance their innovation-driven development capability.
