A group of nine volunteers from Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology paid a five-day visit to Qinghai's Huangnan Tibetan autonomous prefecture from July 19 to 23.
During the first art festival for primary and middle school students ever held in Huangnan, volunteers showcased how a whistle was made from a 3D printer to local primary students and teachers. They also brought this cutting-edge technology to seven Tibetan students' homes.
Volunteers visited a local minority high school and carried out psychological counseling and other group activities such as finger dance and folding newspaper for senior students to release their mental stress.
Local students were happy and thoroughly enjoyed various activities. "Looking at them, I just realize that being happy is so simple," said Zhang Kuo, one of the volunteers.
