Intl graduate awarded for urban development efforts in China

Meanwhile, Parkar took part in various public benefit activities, such as planting trees to increase urban afforestation, cleaning and purifying waterways, and giving lectures to inspire people to live greener lifestyles.
Parkar's active roles both at work and in the public was reflected in his college life.
The aeronautical engineering-majored student worked hard on one hand, winning several school-specific scholarships, while on the other he was an active figure in cultural and voluntary activities, and even hosted the graduation ceremony for students of the Class of 2014.
Parkar extended his gratitude to NUAA, saying that the school offered him a strong sense of belonging and made his campus life and study meaningful. He was also grateful for having various opportunities to learn Chinese culture and experience the country's rapid and exciting development.
He extended special appreciation to NUAA's down-to-earth culture, which he said has inspired him to keep modest and grounded in daily life and encouraged him to give back to the society which has treated him so well.
