Jiangsu University welcomes new intl students

Some 115 students from all over the world went to Jiangsu University (JSU) on Feb 28 and March 1 to register for the new semester.
In order to help the students manage their registrations, teachers and volunteers from the Overseas Education College of JSU started bright and early, wearing smiles to welcome the students and provide assistance.
The whole process was simplified into several steps and carried out in good order, such as checking up registration materials, paying school fees, locating accommodation, being physically examined, and renewing residence permits.
The new students thanked JSU for its thoughtfulness, as their registrations were completed efficiently; they also expressed their eager anticipation of the new school term.
JSU has been a favorable destination for international students. The school welcomed a total of 2,580 foreign students last year, 1,852 of whom were pursuing academic degrees.
The school has also witnessed remarkable progress in international education in recent years. It was included in the national and provincial programs to cultivate high-end professionals for Belt and Road countries.
