As a pioneering move to promote the idea of “sharing economy and green commuting”, the mini bus will be a pillar stone propelling the school’s electric vehicle technologies to develop into new levels. 

The bus will also enter the local public transportation system in the near future, allowing people to gain access to it as conveniently as hailing a taxi via their mobile phones. 

“By dynamically integrating our mini bus with metro lines and other public transportation, we can solve the ‘last one-kilometer’, or even the ‘last three-kilometer’ problem,” said Yin Guodong, deputy dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Southeast University.
