The 2017 International Academic Conference for Graduates at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics was held on Oct 19-20. 

The event aims to provide eminent graduate students with a platform to share research findings, broaden their academic horizons, and improve their intercultural communication skills. Postgraduates from 16 countries joined the conference.

Renowned figures such as Shi Daning, Jiang Ju, Jin Quanyuan, as well as guests from other universities and colleges attended the opening ceremony. 

The highlight was six outstanding student representatives from Chinese and overseas institutes like Beihang University and University of Nottingham, delivering keynote speeches in fields of hydromechanics, bionic unmanned aerial vehicles, rocket motor, wireless communications, and operation research.

Twelve special forums were held separately at the Minggugong and Jiangning campuses during the two-day event which attracted more than 200 graduate students who presented their scientific new advances and research results. Their common interest is to improve future aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, network technology and communications, and management science. 

The “Excellent Paper” award was presented to several authors at the closing ceremony held on Oct 20.
