So what is the highlight of their classes and why are the students deeply attracted by them?

The answer lies in the teachers’ complete preparation of classes and their integration with various cutting-edge technologies.

For example, at a class introducing how convex lens imaging principles are applied in daily life, the teachers aroused the students’ interests with a college admissions letter, which via virtual-reality (VR) glasses, can display the diverse information embodied in traditional offers.

To help the students better connect physics principles with real-life application, the teachers also encouraged students to try their hands at designing and improving VR glasses, making water-based convex lens, and creating simplified microscopes.

“New technologies have the ability to grab students’ attention at first sight, and what we need to do is encourage them to brainstorm and help them design,” said Pan Shujie, the team leader.
