Intl student experience Kunshan development

Over 80 international students from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, all Chinese Government Scholarship winners, embarked on an “Experience China” visit to Kunshan, Jiangsu province on Nov 9-10.

They explored the research and development achievements of local high-tech enterprises, such as those featuring intelligent manufacturing, logistics, unmanned aerial vehicles, computer software, and commerce. They also had the opportunity to savor the unique charm and beauty of jiangnan, a region south of the Yangtze River Delta.

The students first visited Kunshan Tungray Industrial Automation Co, a company with expertise in logistics sorting equipment and intelligent manufacturing. At the company’s production workshop, the students got to know its production process, its star product of intelligent logistics pipeline. They expressed their eagerness to have internship experience there in the future.

They also visited a local e-commerce industrial park, where they were deeply impressed by its star enterprises – the Zhongtan Information Technology Co and Pgytech Intelligent Technology Co. Pgytech, is a leading company in China’s aerial photography industry. Here, the students were introduced to an array of innovative accessories, which can help enhance the recording experience of professionals and enthusiasts in the air, ground and even underwater.

On their way back to Nanjing, the students visited Jinxi, a water town renowned for picturesque landscape and rich cultural atmosphere. The students said they were touched by Jinxi’s tranquility and idyllic beauty and hoped to visit the township in the near future.

The “Experience China” series has been sponsored by the China Scholarship Council since 2015. It is aimed at equipping overseas students with first-hand experiences of China, helping them better adapt to Chinese society, improving their understanding of Chinese culture, and encouraging them to serve as cultural envoys between China and their home countries.
