A Kazakhstani student from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology said she was excited to be part of the event. 

“The Belt and Road Initiative has forged closer economic and technological ties between China and Kazakhstan, attracting more and more Kazakhstanis to pursue their studies here,” she said in fluent Chinese. 

“I hope my experience in China can contribute to the two sides’ development, as well as helping me to become a cultural ‘envoy’ between China and Kazakhstan,” she added.
