The mascot, Ning Ning, is named after the city’s abbreviation.
In the colors of orange, yellow, red, purple, and green, the mascot takes shape from Nanjing’s colorful and special river stone product, or “rain-flower pebble” as many Chinese call them, and is outfitted with a full set of professional roller skating equipment.
It incorporates aspects of the host city’s majestic local stone – its brightness and vibrancy – and sets the tone for fun, colorful, and energetic roller games.
