The Huaihai Road Primary School in Huaian, Jiangsu province held a sports meet for faculty members on April 15 to enrich daily life, promote healthy lifestyles and increase mutual connections.
On that bright spring morning more than 360 primary school and kindergarten teachers and staff members gathered at the Shitahu Campus, eager to show their talent in a variety of individual and team games such as rope skipping, shuttlecock kicking, spot shooting, tug-of-war, and 50-meter relay race.
The participants also enjoyed themselves batting table tennis balls to keep them aloft, a reflection of the national sport of China which is also widely welcomed as a school tradition.
The game winners expressed their gratitude for the sports meet, saying it was good physical exercise, released working pressure and enhanced connections with colleagues.
The Huaihai Road Primary School is known for its momentum in serving its faculty members. Various recreational and sports activities are frequently carried out, winning support from teachers and other staff and building up a more harmonious school ground atmosphere.
