A group of international students from Jiangnan University immersed themselves in folk culture by attending a traditional celebration held at Yuqi town of Wuxi, Jiangsu province on March 30.
The 19 students, coming from the US, Romania, the UK, and the Netherlands, began their one-day cultural tour in Tongting Square at 9:00 a.m. They not only feasted their eyes on fascinating dragon dances, but also took part in a pageant parade to experience the real flavor of folk customs by taking various props such as doll masks, floral carrying poles, and waist drums.
