Int’l students have a taste of Chinese tea culture

A group of international students from Yangzhou University (YZU), all winners of the Confucius Institute Scholarship, immersed themselves in Chinese tea culture at the Nashan Mountain Geological Park in Yizheng, Jiangsu province on March 26.
Apart from having a taste of the fragrant local specialty Luyangchun tea, the students also delved into various traditions, such as the methods of brewing, appreciating, and savoring tea.
“It was interesting using the bowl cover to stir the leaves and slowly taste the tea three times,” one student said.
