French-based Galilei-Studialis Group opened the Sino-French Cultural and Art Innovation Base in Gusu District in Suzhou on March 1, as a part of wider cooperation with the Chinese government with regards to the study of art.

Galilei-Studials Group is the largest private educational institute in Europe and the third largest in the world. It owns 49 colleges across the globe, two thirds of which specialize in fashion, animation, and film.

The Suzhou base will serve as an innovation center combining research and development, technology transfer, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the cultivation of international professionals.

In September, Chinese students will have the chance to enroll LISAA College of Art & Design, a Parisian instate famed for its animation.

Another 10 French art colleges as well as those across Europe such as the Florence College of Art will open enrollment to Chinese students in the near future.
