Students at Boai Primary School in Changzhou city, Jiangsu province celebrated their first day of the spring semester on Feb 12, by collecting cards written with the character fu, bearing best wishes from their parents and teachers for a good semester.                                   “It’s interesting and novel to collect cards on my first day back school,” said the fifth grade student Shen Ziyu.

Sanjing Experimental Primary School: dress and guess

Students from Sanjing Experimental Primary School in Changzhou city, Jiangsu province carried out an interesting “dress and guess” game on their first day back to school on Feb 12, dressing up like characters from their favorite books and guessing each other’s roles.

They also put on a variety of shows adapted from classic stories, such as the Wizard of Oz, Three Visits to the Cottage, Returning the Jade to Zhao and Wu Song Fights the Tiger.
