Jiangsu Jiankang Vocational College was founded in Nanjing, Jiangsu province in 1933 and is subordinated to the Jiangsu health department. It has three campuses in Hanzhong road, Fenghuangxi street and Pukou and covers a total area of 24.4 hectares.  The first phase of the Pukou campus has 130,000-square-meter building area. The college now has 140 million yuan in assets value and 242 faculty members, including 160 full-time teachers and 61 with advanced technical titles. A total of 55 full-time teachers have master's degree or above. The school library has a collection of 232,000 books and 500 Chinese and foreign-language periodicals.
