Thai and Turkish festival held at Nanjing Normal University

The Nanjing Normal University (NNU) held a Thai and Turkish culture festival at its Suiyuan Campus on May 11, with officials, international and domestic students taking part in the event.
Miao Jiandong, vice-president of NNU, hoped the festival would promote cultural exchanges between the 1,600 international students who come from some 130 countries and regions for long-term or short-term study every year.
On the day, Thai and Turkish culture was put on display with guests being treated to singing, dancing and exotic food, as well as taking part in some entertaining games. As a gesture of good will, solidarity and friendship, the students signed a ceremonial sheet and exchanged cards.
