HK and Singaporean delegations visit China Pharmaceutical University

Teachers and students from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) recently paid a visit to China Pharmaceutical University (CPU) in Nanjing, Jiangsu province at the invitation of CPU.

Kong Lingyi, vice-president of CPU welcomed the delegation from Hong Kong, expressing his wishes to deepen the mutual understanding and friendship and further expand cooperation between CPU and Hong Kong universities.
Apart from visiting the Pharmaceutical Museum and good manufacturing practice center at CPU’s Jiangning campus and participating in academic lectures and exchange seminars, the delegations paid visits to Nanjing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a local pharmaceutical company.

The university has been pushing forward with greater communication and cooperation with partner universities in Asia, especially those from Hong Kong and Singapore, according to the university officials.

It is the fifth year Hong Kong universities have sent teachers and students to visit CPU and the third year for the NUS. Meanwhile, every year CPU also sends students to Hong Kong and Singapore for summer programs, academic conferences, as well as academic training activities.
