In the bustling city center, Liangfeng Road hosts more than a dozen specialty coffee shops, attracting a young and trendy crowd. In rural areas, such as Huangsipu Ecological Park and Fenghuang town, quaint shops offer a serene coffee experience amid picturesque settings, blending urban sophistication with natural beauty.
Innovative combinations, such as coffee and ecology, coffee and cultural tourism, and coffee and heritage, are redefining local consumer experiences. One standout creation is the "tofu pudding latte", which uses Fenghuang tofu, an intangible cultural heritage item of the city, with coffee. This innovative beverage blends tradition with modern coffee culture, offering a unique taste experience.
Meanwhile, the coffee industry in Zhangjiagang is advancing up the value chain. The launch of the Mocun Technology coffee bean roasting factory project marks a significant shift from a focus on consumption to production, including bean roasting and processing.
Zhangjiagang's strategic location, with access to major waterways and an efficient port logistics system, provides favorable conditions for the large-scale import of high-quality raw coffee beans. This also facilitates the establishment of a modern warehousing system, enabling the rapid distribution of premium roasted products throughout the YRD region and across the national market.
