A joint laboratory focused on solid-state battery materials, established through collaboration between Jiangsu HSC New Energy Materials and Nanjing University, has been officially inaugurated in Zhangjiagang.

NJU, meanwhile, possesses strong technological expertise and research capabilities in new energy materials, lithium-ion batteries, and solid-state batteries.
This collaboration was facilitated by NJU's technology transfer sub-center in Zhangjiagang.
Leveraging the city's industrial foundation, the center strengthens the role of enterprises as innovation drivers and helps local businesses upgrade with world-class scientific and technological resources from NJU.
Since its establishment, the center has assisted well-known local enterprises in partnering with multiple research teams from NJU, building a robust industry-academia-research cooperation system that brings together high-level technical teams and leading industrial enterprises.
