A glass walkway over the water in the park provides an ideal vantage point for visitors to relax and gaze, offering stunning vistas during the day and a dazzling light show reflecting the vibrant cityscape at night.
The park now features 125 additional resting benches for its guests, and three outdoor drinking water stations, each with three outlets, thoughtfully catering to both pets and children. A bike station and pump track have also been added, creating a more child-friendly and active environment.
To cater to the leisure and hiking needs of the community, the north entrance of Huishan National Forest Park has undergone an ecological transformation, establishing a comprehensive "aquatic plants-fish-microorganisms" ecological chain. Streams that were previously visible only during heavy rains are now accessible daily.

The park emphasizes the protection of native trees and ancient species, such as wetland pines, ginkgo, and crabapple, with ancient apricot, mulberry and other trees serving as star varieties. Organic mulch is used to restore soil, providing habitats for insects and small animals. The revamped water system offers habitats for amphibians like dragonflies and frogs.
Night hiking on Huishan Mountain is a popular leisure activity in Wuxi. To enhance this experience, the renovation includes five convenient stations, 25 additional resting benches, drinking water points, automated external defibrillators, smart lockers, and refreshed building facades, ensuring a more comfortable and convenient hiking experience for both residents and tourists.
