The hiking route on Dachao Mountain in Fudong village, Dingshu town, spans about three kilometers. The climb to the top of Dachao Mountain offers stunning views of the misty Taihu Lake and the trains running along the Ningbo-Hangzhou High-Speed Railway.
Formerly a fire path, a hiking route near Chalin village, Dingshu town, extends about 5 km and crosses over seven mountians, offering views of forests, tea fields, and reservoirs.

Boasting original mountain scenery, the Jiangsu-Zhejiang ancient path in Dingshu's Shangba village runs about 9 km.
The 7-km Niansanwan Gongcha ancient path features high ridges and steep mountains.
Huangtading Mountain, measuring 611.5 meters, is reputed as the highest mountain in southern Jiangsu. The mountaintop overlooks the three provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui. With well-preserved mountain paths and stone steps as well as newly-renovated viewing platforms, it is an excellent place to experience the natural landscapes of Yixing.
