The report delivered at the opening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was inspiring, said Zhou Haijiang, board chairman of Wuxi-based Hodo Group and delegate to the 20th CPC National Congress.
Zhou made the remark during an interview with Wuxi Daily on Oct 16.
He said that he is proud to have now served as the delegate to four CPC National Congresses and of bearing witness to the remarkable changes that have taken place in Wuxi and Jiangsu province.
The report proposed improving the modern coporate system with Chinese characteristics, which I'm also proud of, added Zhou.
Over the past years, Hodo Group has explored and practiced a modern coporate system with Chinese characteristics featuring enterprise Party building and social responsibility, which has been praised by Chinese leaders, according to Zhou.
He noted that Hodo Group will further improve the modern coporate system with Chinese characteristics and make more contributions to national rejuvenation.
Hodo Group also actively supports the Belt and Road Initiative by expanding its presence in overseas markets, said Zhou.
For example, the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone in Preah Sihanouk Province, Cambodia, was founded and constructed mainly by Hodo Group nine years ago, and has created nearly 30,000 jobs for locals.
