Wuxi Fund Park, which is located in Shangxianhu Wetland Park in Wuxi's Binhu district, was officially launched on Dec 8.
The first phase of Wuxi Fund Park covers an area of 92,400 square meters. It will promote the deep integration of various types of capital, emerging industries, and high-end talents through the establishment of a communication platform for the equity investment industry, a platform for investment and financing information interaction and project docking, a financial think tank research platform, as well as a financial talent cultivation platform.
Du Xiaogang, Party secretary of Wuxi, has strongly recommended the fund park to representatives from various investment communities.
Du said that as an important part of modern finance, venture capital funds have the advantages of both capital and intellectual capital. Du added that more investment and funds can support the development of emerging industries, future industries, and modern service industries in Wuxi based on its solid real economy, as well as its rich scientific and technological resources.

The Wuxi Financial Empowerment Conference was held on Dec 9, aiming to further promote Wuxi and the newly launched fund park to guests from leading companies and well-known institutions, investor representatives, as well as experts and scholars from the financial field.
The conference witnessed agreement signings on projects worth over 100 billion yuan ($15.72 billion). Financial funds and projects, covering venture capital, guidance, talent, industry, and equity investment, were signed to support green and low-carbon development, rural revitalization, as well as science and technology innovation.
The Wuxi Financial Think Tank was launched at the conference. Gao Guohua, chairman of State Development and Investment Group, Cao Yi, founder of Source Code Capital, as well as Shan Junbao, chairman of China International Capital Corporation Capital, were hired as the first batch of experts to provide advice and suggestions for Wuxi's financial development.
