​Taizhou was recognized as one of the happiest places for entrepreneurs in 2023, according to a list unveiled during a forum held in the city of Taicang on Sept 19.

Authorities at Taizhou recently optimized the approvals mechanism for new construction projects, making it possible for companies to obtain permits at different stages of a build.

Taizhou has adopted an intelligent delivery machine for local residents to deposit and obtain administrative materials, aiming to offer 24-hour government affairs services.
