Highlighting its high-quality development, Xinghua city, administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province, has been promoting the systemic improvement of its business environment.
The city is aiming to provide customized and streamlined services for enterprises, helping them reduce costs and improve efficiency.
The efforts include establishing a special city-level fund of 200 million yuan ($54.91 million) to support the innovation and development of businesses, promoting the co-construction of a public facility and sharing model represented by Dainan town's intelligent manufacturing area, and constructing a human resources services industrial park.

The city has also cooperated with industrial technology research institutes to co-establish an enterprise joint innovation center, in a bid to assist leading businesses to break through technological bottlenecks.
Moreover, the city is encouraging small-scale but promising science and technology innovation projects to leverage offshore incubation centers, to incubate projects and it has offered industry funds to safeguard their innovation development.
In 2024, Xinghua repeated its number one ranking of the previous year in Taizhou. That was in the number of newly approved national high-tech enterprises, the number of provincial-level specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises that produce new and unique products, and the increase in effective invention patents in the course of the year.
