The Party working committee of Lincheng sub-district in Xinghua city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, is leveraging big data technology to boost the level of digitalization of social governance.
To do so, Lincheng has built and continued to optimize a comprehensive command platform, integrating information collecting, video connectivity, real-time scheduling and other functions.
Through big data analysis, the area can also classify and process the problems and various issues being compiled by the platform and then put forwards solutions.
To improve the lives of children in need, Lincheng established a regular assistance system, benefiting 216 local children.
Meanwhile, this year, the sub-district is prioritizing flood control as its primary public work project.
In response to 37 flood-prone areas involving 12 residential areas, it has worked with relevant Xinghua departments to clear accumulated water and waterlogged drains.
Moving forwards, plans are for the sub-district to continue to smooth channels for gathering requests from the public, coordinate various interests and safeguard people's rights and interests, as well as improve the social governance platform with precise management, refined services and information support.
