The data bureau in Xinghua city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, is planning to boost its data management and government services.
That's by focusing on market-oriented digital reforms of its data.
The bureau plans to support the application of big data resources in various fields, in a bid to bolster the level of data development and improve overall administrative efficiency.
A number of things will be introduced to step up the development of a digital society in Xinghua. They include a proposed digital rural comprehensive service platform, a municipal data center, as well as a data security management and emergency prevention and control mechanism.
The bureau will also advance the digital reform of engineering construction approvals. It's expected that this will help foster data sharing among industry departments, promote intelligent government services and promote new approvals mechanisms.
In addition, greater efforts will be made to enhance the government service environment, thereby offering people more convenient and streamlined experiences.
Moving forwards, plans are for the bureau to simplify the registration process for business entities, establish a one-stop service window for individual businesses transforming and upgrading into enterprises and to introduce other key initiatives.
