Over 200 entrepreneurs and business representatives gathered in the city to seek development opportunities.
The signed projects are in stainless steel, new metal materials, health foods and other sectors.
One of the more eye-catching ventures was a food plant being funded by Jiangsu Jideli Food Co Ltd, which will cost 116 million yuan.
The facility will settle in the condiments industry cluster in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone.
The plant will mainly produce health foods such as seasonings, snack foods and pre-prepared meals.
Construction of the project is seen as being conducive to forming a regional demonstration effect – driving the food processing industry forwards in the region to achieve industrial upgrading and sustainable development.
As a leading food enterprise in Xinghua, Jiangsu Jideli Food Co Ltd is situated in the industrial concentration zone of Xingdong town.
