The company, founded in 2006, specializes in seasonings, vegetable powders and edible essences.
Since the start of the year, it started the construction of the 20,000-square meter phase II plant, with total investment of 150 million yuan ($21.58 million), which at capacity is projected to manufacture 9,000 metric tons of high-end condiments annually.
The plant will start operating by the end of next year and the company's sales network has been extended to all over the country, while there are cooperation deals in place with 36 listed companies, said vice-general manager Zhao Fengzhong.
Elsewhere, at Jiahao Foods (Jiangsu) Co Ltd, staff members are busy commissioning the installed equipment at its phase II plant.
Phase II plant – which will mainly produce chicken juice and soup-based seasonings – is expected to start operating next month and will generate annual invoiced sales of 100 million yuan, said HR manager Gong Shiyu.
Gong added that the company had received first-rate service and assistance from the Xinghua EDZ since its settlement there in 2021 – and plans are currently under way for a phase III plant to produce fermented condiments.
