Serene and sublime spring days seem particularly short-lived, so a one-day tour in Hailing district of Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, is a top choice to appreciate the season's vistas and vibes.

At 8:30 am, in Hanxi Street, visitors can feel the hustle and bustle of the place. A plate of boiled scaly tofu threads, paired with crab roe soup dumplings, is the authentic early breakfast tea there.

After strolling through the street, it takes only 10 minutes to walk to the Daohe Ancient Street area. After renovation, this area is once again showcasing the charms of traditional Taizhou style houses to people.

At 10:30 am, in the enchanting Qiaoyuan Garden, visitors can view the fresh green moss-grown rockery and the partition walls made of green bricks and gray tiles.

At noon, the restaurants in Taizhou ancient street exude a fresh, wafting fragrance, inviting people to indulge in the tasty cuisines.

Climb up to Wanghai Pavilion at 2 pm, where you can take in the beautiful scenery of the old city, with the Fengcheng River encircling the city like a jade belt.

At 4 pm, ancient Zhonglou Alley, which integrates traditional courtyards and modern artistic spaces, is a great place to stroll around.

At dusk, Shisheng Street transforms into a great food gathering place to treat visitors. After dinner time, visitors can board a beautiful cruise ship to start a 40-minute night tour.
