As the temperature gradually warms up, plum blossoms are beginning to bloom in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, adding more vitality to the city in the early spring.

The Mei Lanfang Memorial Hall, also known as Meiyuan Garden, is one of the most famous plum blossom viewing spots in the city.

There are over 10 varieties of plum blossoms planted in the park, with recently red and pink flowers blooming in succession.

In addition to Meiyuan Garden, there are now fields of spring plum blossoms in Qiaoyuan Garden and Nanshan Temple.

The plum blossom is the city flower of Taizhou. It is planted in an urban green landscape for many years and has become a much-loved feature of spring.

There is a 1,500-square-meter Meihua Creek near the west gate of Tiande Lake Park, which contains more than 40 types of plum blossoms totaling over 1,000 plants.

Plum blossoms bloom during the transition between winter and spring. They are known as the "messengers of spring" and symbolize a beautiful beginning to the new year.

The viewing time of plum blossoms this year is slightly earlier than previous years and it is expected to stretch until mid-March.
