The opening ceremonies of the 2022 "Tasty Taizhou" Food and Tourism Season and Jingjiang Food (Shanghai) Exchange and Promotion Week were held on Nov 14 in East China's Shanghai municipality.
Over 20 fun activities that combined food, culture and tourism were held to promote Taizhou city – a place boasting a wonderful array of cultural and tourism, as well as abundant water resources – which is located in the central part of East China's Jiangsu province, bordering the Yangtze River to the south.

Local delicacies were promoted, such as Xinghua hairy crabs and Jingjiang crab dumplings in soup, along with cultural events and tour routes.
The Taizhou Culture and Tourism Group offered discount tickets for camping, river cruises and dining. Famous scenic spots and top hotels in Taizhou also launched cost-effective travel incentives.
