In an era of heightened global environmental awareness and rising demand for sustainable materials in electronics, Lianchuang Insulating Materials (Taixing) has become a leader by pioneering low-carbon polyethylene terephthalate (PET) protective films for display panels. Recently, the enterprise was recognized as a national specialized and sophisticated "little giant" enterprise in the seventh batch of such selections.
At its coating workshop, Taixing Lianchuang is increasing production of recycled PET protective films. A newly installed clean environment monitoring system ensures ideal production conditions by continuously monitoring air cleanliness, humidity, and temperature.

Founded in 2005, the company has become a leading domestic producer of PET protective films. As the industrial and consumer electronics industries continue to grow rapidly, the demand for PET protective films — essential for protecting product surfaces — has increased significantly. However, traditional films create environmental issues because they are not biodegradable.
Using its technological expertise, Taixing Lianchuang introduced an innovative PET recycling method, turning waste PET into recycled PET protective films on an industrial scale. This breakthrough has advanced the display panel industry toward a low-carbon future, filling a domestic gap in eco-friendly PET protective film production.
With 17 research and development projects and over 50 million yuan ($7.1 million) invested in research, the company's products excel in technological advancement, performance, and environmental sustainability. In 2024, its share of the domestic market for display panel PET protective films stood at 46.55 percent, ranking first nationwide.
