With the support of incentivizing policies, private enterprises in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, have been embracing intelligent manufacturing and innovation-driven development to galvanize their development potential.
One of them is manufacturer Taizhou Yuanda Investment Group. With the continued expansion of its scale, the company has increased efforts in intelligent transformation to handle difficulties in recruiting workers and high labor costs.
The company has recently erected a high-quality production workshop and purchased intelligent equipment such as welding robots and automatic fabric cutting machines. This has increased production efficiency to over 60 percent and increased production capacity by four times.
Under a policy called the Three-Year Action Plan for Intelligent Transformation and Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry in Taixing City (2022-2024), 196 enterprises in Taixing implemented 331 intelligent and digital technological transformation projects in 2024 alone.
Among them is Jiangsu Funkun New Material Technology, which is a glass deep processing manufacturer that integrates research and development, production and sales.
In recent years, the company has actively cooperated with the research institutes of universities to develop new products such as composite fireproof glass.
It continuously carries out technological, product and management innovation, striving to apply for no less than 15 technology patents and utility model patents, and no less than eight new products within three years.
