Taixing city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, released its 6.0 version plan for optimizing its business environment in May 2024 and in its wake the city achieved great results throughout the course of last year.
Actions were taken to enhance its business enterprise-related services. As an example, the city has promoted the online handling of real estate registration, helping enterprises to save time and costs.
Last year, the city also organized 110 resident companies to participate in key exhibitions both home and abroad. At present, it is home to nine enterprises with import and export volumes exceeding $100 million.

In terms of serving construction projects, the city provided agency services to 33 of them last year. It also encouraged 26 industry associations and chambers of commerce to reduce expenditure costs for enterprises, with a total of 1.18 million yuan ($162,460) in fees waived last year, benefiting 267 businesses.
Over the past year, the city held 134 recruitment fairs, which offered 65,000 job positions and invested 1.69 billion yuan in building 3,866 talent apartments to help hire more people.
As far as its legal development went, one measure the city conducted in 2024 was strengthening the protection of intellectual property applications.
The total number of authorized and valid invention patents for 2024 was 1,153 and 3,947, respectively, increases of 78 percent and 42 percent year-on-year. The city also mediated in 76 disputes involving enterprises, helping them to recover nearly 2.96 million yuan in losses.
Moreover, improved policy support paved the way for a higher quality business environment. Last year, the city disbursed 150 million yuan in funds to promote the development of the real economy, benefiting 887 units and individuals of various types.
