Enterprises in Taixing city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, were quick to resume work after the Spring Festival holiday, pushing for a great start to the new year with a full and buoyant spirit.
Nearly 70 percent of enterprises above a designated size in the city, those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.75 million) or more, resumed work on Feb 5, the first working day after the break.
Outdoor furniture manufacturer Taizhou Yuanda Investment Group, located in the Taixing High-tech Zone, seized the moment to ramp up production.

Yuan Hongping, deputy Party secretary of the company, said it resumed work from the third day of the first lunar month, in a bid to deliver over 1,800 sets of products by the end of February and 70,000 sets by May.
The same busy scene was also to be found at manufacturer Jiangsu Yongsheng Air Conditioning, with workers rushing to produce special air conditioners for grain storage, shipbuilding and marine engineering.
The company's current order book now extends to after June, showing a good start to the first quarter.
