For this Spring Festival, come to Taixing city in East China's Jiangsu province and experience lively and vibrant festive atmosphere, feeling the strong Chinese New Year's flavor!
Diverse festive events will be held in the city's scenic spots. An event featuring intangible cultural heritage, folk customs, food and more is currently being staged in Chaole Sports Park on Tongde Road and will run to Feb 16, where people can encounter ancient style markets and special performances.
In the Natu amusement park, people will be able to appreciate wonderful night evening shows from Jan 29 to Feb 4, where Huohu, or fire pot fireworks, and dragon performances will be on show.

In ancient Huangqiao town, folk culture performances, comic dialogues, shadow plays, movie screening events and more will be presented from Jan 30 to Feb 2 to add to the festive vibe.
It is also a good choice to go to cultural venues for the Chinese New Year.
For instance, the Suli Grand Theatre will hold a trendy gala on Feb 12 to present different dimensions of Taixing. Operas and folk songs will be showcased in innovative and trendy forms.
In Taixing Library, folks can appreciate exquisite Spring Festival couplets in January and February and guess lantern riddles on Feb 6-12.
