Twenty workshops from companies in Taixing city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, were recently included in the list of 2024 provincial level intelligent manufacturing workshops.
In recent years, Taixing's bureau of industry and information technology has firmly advanced the key task of realizing new industrialization and has continued to enhance the driving force of digital intelligence empowerment.
Currently, the city has implemented an aggregate of 1,344 smart and digital transformation projects and it was selected as a region with significant achievements in intelligent transformation and digital transformation in Jiangsu.
What's more, it has created three national excellent intelligent manufacturing scenes, 11 provincial industrial Internet benchmark factories, three intelligent factories, one 5G factory and 54 intelligent manufacturing workshops.
Looking ahead, plans are for the bureau to urge resident industrial companies to accelerate the integration of digital technology and the real economy, amplify the effect of smart and digital transformation through network connectivity and activate the multiplier effects of digital technology on business enterprise development.
