A seminar themed on the digital transformation of chemical enterprises in the new era was held in Taixing city, administered by Taizhou, in East China's Jiangsu province, on June 30.
Participants exchanged ideas on topics, such as the digital transformation throughout the chemical industry, the construction of smart chemical parks and intelligent factories, and the construction of a smart manufacturing standardization system.
Taixing Mayor Liu Wenrong said that the city offers targeted digital diagnosis services to local chemical enterprises in order to promote their high-end, intelligent and green development. An example of this would be the fact that the Taixing Economic Development Zone was approved as a national-level pilot area for smart chemical industry park construction.
Taixing will also continue to cooperate with Japanese enterprises. It has built a Sino-Japan new materials industrial park, which has attracted many Japanese-funded enterprises such as Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company and Morita Chemical Industries Co Ltd to settle there.
