Jiangsu province's department of transport has released the "Collection of Typical Cases of Green Ports in Jiangsu", with one project from Jingjiang in the province selected.
The "Building a Full-Chain Green Oil Terminal" project by CHIMBUSCO Oil Storage & Transportation (Jiangsu) has been listed.
The company integrates oil storage and transfer, bonded tanker supply, domestic oil sales, various oil blending and testing, as well as research and development.

The company's green transformation practice derives from the experience it has gleaned over the years.
In terms of energy structure transformation, it has invested in the construction of a photovoltaic power generation matrix with a total installed capacity of 560 kilowatt peak (kWp), generating an average of 608,000 kWh of electricity annually.
The company has also eliminated two fuel-fired boilers, updated two high-energy-consumption air compressors, achieved 100 percent LED lighting, and introduced pure electric cleaning equipment.
Pollution prevention and control is the core part of its green practices. For instance, by improving the reception facilities for ship pollutants and strictly implementing rainwater and sewage diversion management, the company acts to protect the water quality of the Yangtze River.
