China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Jingjiang Heavy Industries Co, located in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, has focused on advancing digital and intelligent transformation this year.
Since its establishment in Jingjiang, the company's industrial base has evolved into two major sectors: bridge-heavy industry and port logistics.
These sectors encompass six business segments: intelligent manufacturing of bridge steel structures, intelligent bridge installation, intelligent bridge equipment, port operations, material trade logistics, and international trade.
In the intelligent bridge equipment manufacturing workshop, workers have recently been producing bridge launching machines for a 1,000-metric-ton beam segment of a high-speed rail line in Guangdong province.

"The first high-precision fiber laser cutting machine has been put into use, catering to a range of needs from precision hole-making in thin plates to bevel shaping on thick plates," said Hu Liancheng, manager of the intelligent bridge equipment division.
This machine boasts a cutting efficiency 50 percent higher than traditional methods," added Hu.
With the rapid expansion of China's railway bridge construction, the company has seized the opportunity to several national key projects, said Zhang Zhenhai, Party branch secretary of the company's intelligent steel structure manufacturing division.
To boost the processing capabilities of bridge steel structures, the company is accelerating the implementation of digital and intelligent transformation.
"We plan to introduce a pretreatment production line into the workshop to further refine our production process in the first half of this year. Our goal is to achieve an advanced-level intelligent factory by the end of this year and an excellent-level intelligent factory by the end of 2026," added Zhang.
