The Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently ranked 86th in the list of the 2024 Top 100 Potential Development Zones at the Provincial Level in China.
Founded in 2009, the EDZ has a planned area of 18 square kilometers. In September 2018, it was upgraded to a provincial-level economic development zone approved by the Jiangsu provincial government.
Successively, it has been rated as a demonstration base for industry-university-research cooperation and innovation in China, a model park for the agglomeration and development of Chinese-featured industries and a brand park for high-quality investment and business environment in China.
Through years of integrated and innovative development, the zone's development level, capacity and quality have been greatly improved.
In 2023, its industrial invoiced sales hit 20.5 billion yuan ($2.84 billion), a year-on-year increase of 10 percent.
