With increasing numbers of resident businesses and their expanding markets, the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, is rolling out measures to attract talent to help meet the employment needs of enterprises.
After identifying 124 specific employment needs of businesses, the zone organized 24 enterprises to participate in campus recruitment fairs. It has also promoted the matchmaking of enterprises and universities, assisting businesses to recruit 76 graduates.
Moreover, it has been accelerating the construction of infrastructure such as expert buildings, residential staff apartments, as well as a water saving park and fitness center, in a bid to create an ever-appealing environment for top talent to stay there.
Dedicated efforts have also been made by the zone to build a regular communication platform between the local government, schools and enterprises and gradually promote their cooperative relationships.
To date, the zone has established 26 provincial-level or above technology innovation platforms, two provincial-level postdoctoral innovation practice bases and five provincial-level graduate workstations.
