The Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in Taixing city invited nearly 50 of this year's graduates from academic institutes in Changzhou city – both located in East China's Jiangsu province – to visit the zone on May 18.
The aim was to attract more talented people to settle in the region.
In the morning graduates from the Changzhou Institute of Technology and the Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology tasted Taixing zaocha, or early breakfast tea.
They also checked out the great cultural vibes in Huangqiao town, where the zone is located, by visiting places like the Battle of Huangqiao Memorial Hall and Qixiang village.
In addition, the graduates paid a visit to key manufacturers in the zone, including Jiangsu Sunpower Co Ltd and Huierxin Machinery (Taixing) Co Ltd. They learned about their production processes, technological innovations and market operations.
A recruitment fair also took place on the day, offering over 200 positions at 12 enterprises based in the zone.
