Dedicated efforts are being made by the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in Taixing city – administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – to promote conservation and the efficient utilization of its water resources.
In so doing, the zone has become the first water-saving industrial park in Taizhou to pass provincial acceptance in this area of endeavor.
This means it adheres to water-based production and fine planning, introduces water-saving related systems and is creating a comprehensive water-saving supervision platform. As a result, it has realized the comprehensive supervision of its water intake and the water-saving management of resident companies.
Moreover, it has built advanced treatment projects for recycled water, with support facilities including pipeline networks and water stations.
Currently, all water used for the green landscaping and road sweeping in the zone is done with recycled water. The zone is also guiding enterprises to take over the use of recycled water and to conduct water-saving technology renovation projects.
