The 2nd Qinlin Bay Melon and Fruit Season opened on July 30 in Hailing district of Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province.
Representatives of fruit brand chain stores, street chambers of commerce and others signed supply contracts with melon and fruit cooperatives.
To provide locals and tourists with more choice, a "tasting map" of Qinlin Bay melons and fruit locations was released on-site, announcing the varieties, phone numbers and addresses of each picking garden.
The highlight of the melon and fruit season is the fruit market and agricultural product exhibition. More than 10 melon and fruit growers from Qinlin Bay brought their freshest seasonal fruit, such as pears, watermelons, melons and grapes.
In addition, fruit sold on online via livestreaming rooms was also a hit, especially for very popular fruit like Cuiguan pears and melons, underscoring the preference of customers for Qilin Bay fruit.
"As our local brand, Qilin Bay fruit is diverse, fresh and delicious and my family and I really like them," said a local, adding that the event allowed her to enjoy delicious fruit and support local growers at the same time.
