In particular, the food-grade packaging materials project being developed by Jiangsu Haida Industrial Group is at the acceptance phase and is set to begin production by April. With an investment of 500 million yuan ($69.53 million), the project will utilize 33,000 square meters of workshops and advanced equipment, in what is expected to be a key part of the city's industrial supply chain.
Meanwhile, an overseas-funded construction project for Baoya (Taizhou) New Energy Automobile Parts, with a $30 million investment, is now partially operational and is expected to be fully up and running by April. This venture – producing new energy vehicle components with state-of-the-art equipment from around the world – aims to galvanize the city's automotive parts industry.
Together, these projects are said to really underscore the Hailing Industrial Park's favorable business environment. Wang He, secretary of the Party working committee, envisions achieving a 30-billion-yuan annual industrial output value and completion of six projects by 2024, further propelling the city's development forwards.
