Four rural roads in Huagang town, located in Hailing district in Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, are undergoing renovations and upgrading, totaling 5.6 kilometers this year.
Huaye Road, located in Yema village, Huagang town, spans 1.1 km and serves as an important transportation channel for locals and enterprises. Its width was expanded from the original 4 meters to 6 meters this year, and the thickness of the subgrade structure layer was also increased.
Located in Xujiaoduo village of Huagang town, the original Huaxu Road was previously too narrow for vehicles to pass each other. Therefore, the construction team widened the road to 6 meters during the renovation.
Hailing district also renovated and upgraded the 1.7-km-long Huagang Road and the 1.9-km-long Hualiu Road in Huagang town, bringing the total length of the four roads to 5.6 km.
Huay and Huagang roads are nearly complete, while Huaxu and Hualiu roads are still under construction. All four roads are expected to be completed by the end of October.
