The Union Committee of Taizhou LONGi Lerri Solar Corp in Hailing Industrial Park, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, was recently included on the list of national exemplary worker's homes, according to a document established by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.
Established on July 26, 2016, this union committee holds regular monthly meetings with worker representatives, giving them an opportunity to discuss and offer advice for the company. This facilitates communication between workers and the union.
The committee has set up specialized public WeChat accounts for employees to submit proposals and complaints and provides timely solutions to their difficulties, including those related to employment, social security and welfare benefits, accommodation and catering, and training.
Furthermore, it organizes sports and cultural activities every quarter, including basketball, badminton, table tennis, and tug-of-war competitions.
In addition, the union committee has established a Workers' Home to meet the diverse needs of the workers, which features innovation and development exhibition halls, library reading rooms, multipurpose rooms, fitness areas, infant-care rooms, and dance studios.
